HOUSTON, Nov 9, 2005 – The Grand Prix of Houston announced the launch of its official website today – as www.grandprixofhouston.com went live.
“We are proud to make this announcement today,” said Mark O. Johnson, Director of Marketing for the Grand Prix of Houston. “We have been developing this site since we announced our event was part of the 2006 Champ Car schedule and we believe this site will give all users exactly what they are seeking when they visit it.”
The Grand Prix of Houston will be held May 11-13, 2006 at Reliant Park. The previous Grand Prix in Houston was staged downtown from 1998-2001, but returns to Space City after a five-year hiatus. The Grand Prix of Houston will be staged on a 1.7-mile temporary street course and will be the only race of its kind to run at night.
The site – www.grandprixofhouston.com – was developed and is maintained by DXdetroit, a firm with extensive website development experience in motorsports. Members of the media and race fans alike are encouraged to regularly check the website for current information on the event.
