The Grand Prix of Houston will offer a wide variety of off-track entertainment for fans of all ages. Please check back frequently as more activities will be added. Go-Karts Do you want to race at the Grand Prix of Houston? Come check out a replica of the challenging street course at the Grand Prix of Houston Go-Kart track. These karts can reach speeds up to 60 mph and turn on a dime, just like the real thing. An additional fee of must be paid to experience this special event. Adults and children 12 years of age or older are eligible to drive, and those who are between the ages of 12 and 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent. Safety equipment will be provided. Racers must wear shoes with socks, no open-toe shoes. No shorts are allowed, denim jeans are preferred, and shirts must have either short or long sleeves (no tank-tops). Family Fun Zone Patrons of all ages will enjoy the activities and attractions in our “Family Fun Zone.” With an assortment of interactive games and inflatables, such as the Giant Ferris Wheel, a Quad Bungee Trampoline, mechanical bull, Micro Reality Race Cars, a Giant Slide, the Elephant Belly Bouncer and many other exciting activities, children will find hours of entertainment in the Family Fun Zone. To add to the fun, a master juggler, face painters, and balloon artists will be on hand to entertain throughout the day. Beach Volleyball A beach volleyball court at the Grand Prix will host ongoing EVP Tour competition, featuring some of the top female beach volleyball players in the world.
